Because of our field trip on Thursday, we will probably be taking the reading and spelling tests on Wednesday. I might do one of them on Thursday, I'm not sure yet. I have to see how the week goes, but just know it could be on Wednesday.
The bobcat award cut off is this week. Please send in the papers asap, so I can make sure they can get their award next week.
English:
This week we are on Unit 6 Week 4.
Our question of the week is "What can we learn about cowboy traditions?"
Spelling: We are focusing on the suffixes -ness, -less, -able, -ible.
Comprehension: We will be talking about sequence.
Conventions: We are learning about when to use commas.
Math: We are finishing our last math unit on time and data. We will be going back and reviewing, but also looking forward and teaching multiplication / division. (Even though many students are already doing that on reflex math).
French: Be sure to check Madame Gautier's weebly.
