English: This week we are reading a story called Thunder Cake. Grandma distracts her granddaughter from a big thunderstorm by having her make a cake.
Poetry month: April is poetry month and we are going to start learning about and writing poetry.
French sounds: ion, oin
Science: We have some new class pets. They are monarch butterfly caterpillars. We are going to be learning about metamorphosis and watching them change as they turn into butterflies!
Math: We are reviewing telling time, weight and capacity.
