English:
This week in class we are reading some biographies. As homework students have been asked to interview something that they would like to get to know more. We talked about interviewing, parents, grandparents, aunts/ uncles, or even close neighbors or friends. They have a paper with some questions that they need to fill out. Then they need to complete a timeline for that person's life. They need to have at least 8 events on the timeline. Next week we will work on turning those timelines, and interviews into a written biography. Please make sure that your child completes the homework this week so they can participate in the assignment next week.
Science:
We have also been watching our caterpillars. On Friday they turned into chrysalis' we are excited to see them finish the metamorphosis and turn into butterflies.
French:
We are working on silent letters: ps, d, t, h
Math: We are talking about capacity i.e. liters, gallons, pints, quarts, cups. We will also be starting to talk about graphing.
