Please sign up for parent teacher conferences. There are quite a few that have already signed up, thank you. If you are unable to meet during any of the conference times please contact us and we will be happy to make an appointment a different day that is convenient for you. English:
This week we are on Unit 2 Week 3. Our question of the week is, "How can we work together to meet people's needs?" We will be reading, Scarcity. It is informational text that teaches basically about supply and demand.
Comprehension skill: We are talking about facts and details
Our phonics /spelling pattern: r-controlled vowels: ar, ir, ur
Conventions: We are talking about singular and plural nouns.
Math:
We are working on ordering numbers from least to greatest and skip counting. We are also working on problem solving by using data from a chart.
French:
This week are continuing with the /an/ /am/ sounds.
Science:
We will be learning about living things and animal habitats.
