It's great to be back. We hope you all enjoyed the holidays. We've both had a nice long break, and it was good to see all the kids again this morning. We look forward to getting back into a routine.

Language Arts:
This week we are reading a story called, Chinatown. It is about a boy and his grandmother who spend the day enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of Chinatown.
We will be working on summarizing stories, and making judgments as to why the author would tell us certain information, or if characters made good choices.
Math:
We are working on problem solving, adding two digit numbers and adding three numbers. Topic 8 has been assigned as online homework that students can now complete.
French:

Science:
We will be starting to learn about non-living things. We are going to begin by talking about gravity.
