We hope you all had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend. I guess summer is officially over. We are looking forward to meeting you at Back to School Night on Thursday. Please be on time, and please understand we have 57 students. We will try to answer as many questions as we can at back to school night, but if you have specific questions you may need to email us or set up an appointment to talk with us at a different time.
I try to post any papers that we send home here on our blog. Please check the right hand side of the blog for anything you might be missing.
English:
Hopefully you have read through the packet I sent home on Friday. We are working on the story The Twin Club this week. The question of the week is: What can we learn by exploring different communities? We will also be reviewing short vowels and consonants. You should have a copy of the spelling list for our test on Friday.
Math:
We will be starting our first topic in Envision Math. We will be reviewing the vocabulary for: sum, number, equal, addition, and subtraction.
Science:
We will begin learning about Animal Habitats
