I have already had some September reading calendars turned in without a name, and no one claiming it as their own. I have a link on the right hand side where I will put a copy of the monthly reading calendars in case those get lost.
I do ask that students read at least 20 minutes a day for five days a week. I understand how busy life gets but reading is so important. I'll let it count if it is an adult or sibling reading to the student, the student reading out loud, or silently. Mix things up, be creative! Read in the car on the way to school, (as long as no one gets car sick) read the cereal box, or a recipe while fixing dinner. You know your kids best and what motivates them to read.
