Reflex Math

First of all I normally won't bombard you with a new post every day, so sorry there are so many messages this week.

A really cool resource the district has provided us with is Reflex Math.  Some of you might have been on it during the summer.  It is a program that helps students gain fluency with their math facts.  We really want them to be able to recall those fact quickly and not have to use their fingers.  We logged into the website today during school and the kids loved it.
So what I'm asking is instead of sending home math pages for homework, I'll ask that the students get onto Reflex Math for 15 minutes a day, 3 days a week.  They don't have to be on for very long, just long enough to practice a little bit, a few days a week.  If they want to go on longer or more frequently that's up to you.  Once they gain fluency I might start sending math pages home again, but the focus right now will be on those math facts.
Look for a paper coming home today with information about how to log on.  (It's also an iPad app too!)
If you don't have access to internet at home to have your students get onto Reflex please let me know so we can arrange something different.
Thanks!
